Can buffed granite be fixed Description

I recently had a new Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top installed (Giallo Veneziano).  Because one slab was not the same thickness as the other they ground it down and (http://maplered.com) now the area they ground down does not have a shine to it.  They sent someone out to polish it twice and (http://maplered.com) now it looks blotchy and (http://maplered.com) dull and (http://maplered.com) the 5" x 12" area of dullness is a 18" x 27" area and (http://maplered.com) affects two Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) .  When I told the company that I have been waiting to install the backsplash because if they couldn't get the finish to match up, I didn't want them to have to tear out the backsplash when they replace the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) .  I was then told that they couldn't see replacing the Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top because it is a large Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top and (http://maplered.com) starting telling me how Granite (http://tanbrown.org) is a Stone (http://g603.net) and (http://maplered.com) not perfect and (http://maplered.com) that it is within industry stand (http://maplered.com) ards.  I do not have a problem with the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) itself, I have a problem with what they did to the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) .  They now want to send someone else out to inspect the Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top to see if it is within industry stand (http://maplered.com) ards.  Can this be fixed or is this actually an industry stand (http://maplered.com) ard that the finish on the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) does not have to match?
